Montebello Farm and the Robertson Family
Circa 1720
Michael Clore came to America from Germany in the mid 1700's as part of the Germanna settlement. He served as an indentured servant to Governor Spotswood. After his indenture was completed he was granted land on the norther side of the Robinson River in 1720.
Eight generations and 287 years later the Robertson family continues to perserve this property as a working family farm.
